eCommerce company that handles the web presence, marketing, design, support (including call center) and fulfillment for well known fashion industry designers as well as other companies.
  • Scaled the company from small environment into an environment that can easily and quickly adjust to increased clients, volume and traffic both on websites and through warehouse fulfillment operations.
  • Identified opportunity and devised system to serve images and interactive content, negotiated vendor agreements resulting in 80% cost savings as well as open up new revenue prospect.
  • Re-engineered current ecommerce platform resulting in 65% less development time for new site launches and empowering departments and clients to perform tasks and bring them "live" immediately, trimming development resource requirements and time required for day to day changes and promotions.   • Designed web 2.0 ecommerce platform to query websites for inventory availability, offer complete checkout (while processing purchase at vendor sites), calculating driving distances, times and costs and dispatching appropriate delivery system. Developed database and system architectures. SOAP, REST and XML web services.

Consulting on Transora and UCCnet development for Siebel’s Universal Application Network technology, including data exchange, XML messaging, XML Schemas, integration, and Supply Chain including RFID tracking for major CPG companies. Included definition of requirements (hardware, resources, etc), training and support.   • Directing the project and development managers, responsibilities included directing development staff, project management office, client services, sales issues and development plan, re-prioritizing continuously as the needs changed or new ones introduced, and making sure executive management was always abreast of progress, issues and any customer relationship changes.
  • Directed staff growth to over 80 professionals including developers, supporting staff and quality assurance, with annual development budget between $2 and $6 million.
  • Was originally recruited as the Lead Developer and Software Development Manager, and was very “hands on” throughout my tenure.
